Avatar celebrates each festival to bring awareness on the significance of it. Students come to school wearing beautiful dresses on the festival theme. This school will be decorated beautifully with glitters, lights and the art work if students everywhere.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
“Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work.” THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF AVATAR PUBLIC SCHOOL for the academic 2023-24 was held with great dignity. New leaders are vested with responsibilities and powers during an Investiture ceremony. Investiture ceremony is the act of conferring authority. It is one of the historical occasions when the school entrusts faith, hope and responsibility with the newly appointed school cabinet.
Independence Day
Independence day is celebrated on August 15th all over India with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Our school celebrates this festival every year.This year,we made the festival even more special. On this auspicious occasion of India’s 77 th Independence day celebration, Avatar Correspondent Shree Senthil Kumar sir introduced the concept of ‘MERIT COIN’ for the students in order to motivate them in curricular and co-curricular activities.
ONAM CELEBRATION
Onam is considered as the important harvest festival of Kerala,To bring an impact on Unity in diversity , students of Avatar celebrated the onam festival in a very awe- inspiring way.Pookalam is the main aspect of Onam celebration.House wise Flower carpet competitions were held in the school and students effectively participated in the competitions and won the places.
Sri Krishna Jayanthi
Krishna Janmashtami also known as Gokulashtami is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna.He is well known for his adorable face and cute little smile.He is distinguished for his tantrums .To teach the kids about the moral values given by Lork Krishna , we observed Krishna Jayanthi in our school .The students of Avatar presented a speech on importance of Krishna Janmashtami and the little buds from kindergarted were dressed up as Krishna and Radha .It was indeed a special treat to our eyes to see them carrying a pot and dancing.
Sports Day
Sports plays an major role in shaping the life of every child. Sports day is an important milestone for all the schools to show case the special sport talent of each kid in front of thousands of people. Avatar Public School celebrated its Annual Sports day on November 4th 2023. It all started with a great joy of happiness in the fresh morning with the spick and span surrounding .The Correspondent, The Secretary and The Principal welcomed the chief guest Mr.K.Sajeeth Kumar, 101 RAF cordially with the troop playing the band and leading the chief guest to the podium.The event started with prayer song, welcoming the chief guest , flag hoisting, house wise march past, declaration of sports meet, amazing cultural performaces followed by the sports event .
Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s day is celebrated on birth anniversary of the Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. According to him, children are bright future of the country. He was well known that bright future of the country depends upon the bright future of the children.
In our school we celebrated the children’s day with special assembly was conducted in the morning. This memorable day made our children understand the responsibility towards providing a fulfilled childhood to each individual.
CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION
To bring the joy of Christmas which infuses our life and that of our family with hope, positivity and Avatarians celebrated the eve of Christmas on 22nd December 2023.It started with a prayer song followed by a skit on birth of Jesus Christ, a group song and a dance. The little buds of Avatar dressed up like an angels which were the real treat to all our eyes.
A Christmas celebration will not be fulfilled without the arrival of the dear Santa. Children were overwhelmed with happiness when the Santa arrived with the dance for the song “Jingle bells”. Finally the day ended up with sharing the wishes among each other.
